NB - Please introduce yourself.
PG - Sex Object and The Model

NB - The Punk Group - why this name?
PG - Easier to remember

NB - How and when did you start?
PG - Our first show (early 2002) was a "joke" as part of a local version of the 70's US t.v. show called The Gong Show, where you perform 3 songs and judges rate your performance (kinda like that stupid American Idol only with more swearing and drinking involved. Anyway, we won and more offers came in from promoters to play other places, but we only had our 3 songs. Fast forward 3 years and were still making songs and our little "joke" is now on everyone else.

NB - Who are your favorite punk bands and electro / wave bands or whatever?
PG - We listen to many different kinds of music ranging from the mid to late 70's punk and early 80's new wave as well as many newer acts. the list would be way too long, just listen and you can hear the influences

NB - You released 3 CDs. Did you do it yourself?
PG - Yeah, and were almost done with our fourth. We figured that as prolific as we are it would be a good idea to invest any money we would throw away in an actual studio, and just build one in my basement where we could work at our own pace and make what we want when we want.

NB - You have great songs and funny lyrics. "Sleater Kinney Sucks" - do you really hate Sleater Kinney and why?
PG - We dont hate them, we just think their music is awful and over-rated. They live in Portland too and have come to some of our shows, but they get pretty mad when we play that song. We like to put people in their place and knock them down a few pegs, you know, make sure they dont get too big for their britches.

NB - Who is Toby Keith, GabeDelang and who are Poirier Brothers?
PG - Toby Keith (is an asshole by the way) is an American country singer and full time douche bag. After the 9-11 tragedy, he made all these songs about how America is #1 and we'll kick everyones ass and so forth. This really pissed me off because alot of America does not agree with our retarded president, the current administration or this type of mindless behavior, pandering to the weak minded masses in a time of crisis, thats why we wrote it. Gabe DeLang is our secret 3rd member, friend and graphic designer/webmaster and The Poirier "Brothers" are actually 2 gay real-estate agents (now married to each other) that have these great bus stop adverts all over town asking for people to call them if they want to buy a house. We answered alot of peoples curiosity with that one.

NB - Lot of Dutch people are proud of Heiniken beer. Now you have chance to tell them what you think about it.
PG - The Dutch should be proud, its great beer. That song was about Dennis Hoppers character in David Lynch's 1987 movie, "Blue Velvet" where he asks Kyle MacLaughlin's character what kind of beer he likes, to which he(Kyle's character) says "Heineken" and well, you can figure out the rest or watch the movie.

NB - More things you hate?
PG - Where do we start....?

NB - What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
PG - Ok here where it gets good. I take a shower.

NB - Do you have any hobbies?
