The Damn Luckies are superfast punkabilly from Belgium. Loud guitar and primitive bass. Fast rock'n'roll songs with loud punk attitude. They remind me a lot of Elvis Hitler. Really cool band. This 7 song promo CD is furious, all tracks are really cool, including Johnny Cash "Folsom Prison". These guys are looking for label to release their album. Ford T is 70s vintage hard rock. Not bad but they need bit more time to ripe and find their own sound or maybe better producer. I miss a bit energy, sweat and dirtness.

Four Slicks is one of the best bands I heard lately and this EP spins very often on my turntable. Cool primitive trashy rock'n'roll garage punk - like Cramps meet Radio Reelers. All 4 songs really kick ass. Well, maybe "No Money No Job" is my fave - probably because of the lyrics. Members of already known No Talents, Dragueurs, Real Gone Daddies, Rip Offs, Creteens - this can only be good!

Goggle-A is 100% pure Japanese GS madness. They are not some boring 60s retro band, but totally crazy weirdos with 60s GS influence. I'm crazy about crazy Japanese bands. Both songs have Japanese lyrics and they are soooooooo great, you can only jump, twist and shout. "Dendeke Rock Combo" CD is unbelievably super super cool great surf go go garage rock, totally insane, great production and most important - each song is killer. If you like Japanese 60s GS bands - you will love this CD. It's a bit more surfy than the 7". Really cool cover of "Long Tall Sally" in Japanese - the best version I ever heard. Vocal is great - Eri (girl drummer) sings really charming + Jimi Hendrix solo guitar. Weird version!! Goggle-A sounds like Trashmen drunk lot of Sake and smoked some weed. I'm really having great time listening to this CD. Definitely one of the best albums I heard this year!! Closing track "Secretomato" is just mega cool and weird on it's magical Japanese way.

Huh, you really have to sit and listen (explore) Hitch CD little bit longer to give your opinion. It takes some time to get into it. They named lot of different influences, lot of bands I don't like, but Hitch are still different with their own sound. Songs vary from mid tempo with nice a bit dark sphere to bit noisy emo core indie. I prefer the dark ones like: "Last Night My Head Died", "Killing The Midnight Choir" or "High Heels". You can also hear traces of Sonic Youth in their music, but also psychedelia. Cool album.
