THE PUNK GROUP "ROCK OFF AND FUCK ON" CD, 2005
What I like most about Punk Group is that they were great band and they are getting even better. If you like new wave, electro and punk this is for you. The Punk Group mixed different influences - Devo, Kraftwerk, Ramones and created their own style that functions great including good songs and lot of humor. 13 new songs with primitive drum box, weird and crazy synth sounds and loud punk guitars + Devo like vocals - great. Production is maybe better, more synths but still enough guitar noise. Go and buy it. I hope The Punk Group will come to Europe some day.

RED ZONE CUBA DEMO CD 2005
Red Zone Cuba are Dutch Belgian trio and they sent this demo wile ago, but shame on me I didn't review it by now. It's 1st class garage trash - great and short songs with prity good production although they use primitive equipment. Let's say, if Mummies are trashy produced, this sounds better, but don't expect Pink Floyd. Great songs, inspired by B movies and all other trash shit that I really like. Full of energy, primitive, wild - just the way it should be. Guys, really sorry to be late with review. I hope you have a proper release by now! Cool name, by the way.

| ROCK'N'ROLL STORMTROOPERS "ON FIRE" CD, Full Breach Kicks 2005
This is great surprise. Rock'n'Roll Stormtroopers are already known to No Brains Readers from before with 2 45s that were released on Incognito Records - quite some time ago. I thought that that was all from this great band, so I'm glad to get this CD! I guess this is their 1st full length. It took some time for them to release it. Lot of things have changed in the meantime but not Rock'n'Roll Stormtroopers. Music is still great and this is one of the wildest snotty punk r'n'r albums ever - or as they call it 'bulldozer rock'n'roll'. If you like Ramones, AC/DC, Real Kids, Dead Boys and other primitive and simple r'n'r bands, this is something for you. All songs are hits, and this album sounds like the best of.

| THE SATELLITERS "IT'S NOT TRUE EP" CD-EP, Dinoysus Records 2005
Steve and the guys get better with each record/CD. This is their latest EP. Unfortunately on CD you get 2 extra songs - unfortunately cos I'm vinyl lover. So on CD you get 6 songs (4 band originals and 2 covers - The Knaves and Tha Bad Rhoads). As usual great neo 60s garage psych with lot of fuzz, organ and psychedelic effects - all played really primitive and loud with great screamy vocal. I saw them live not so long ago and they were great. So if The Satelliters hit your town, make sure not to miss them. They are really one of the greatest bands for this type of garage. 2005 was definitely The Satelliters year!

| SLIDESHAKER "IN THE RAW" CD, Bad Afro Records 2005
I think Slideshaker are from Finland. Slightly different style from other Bad Afro stuff. Very strong blues roots, heavy and slow songs (but not hard rock) - avantgarde psychedelic heavy blues. Some Rolling Stones influences and early Captain Beefheart stuff (not "Trout Mask Replica", but albums with more music and less noise). "In The Raw" is quite personal view on blues and psych. Sound is very primitive and heavy, but at the same time trippy and psychedelic. I think if you like stoner rock and a bit weirder stuff, you may like Slideshaker. They also use acoustic instruments, as well as organ and handclaps. On "Hearbeat Baby" you can even hear Casio rhythm box (Trio - Da Da Da). This song is my fave, not only because of Casio, but also analogue synth and spacey psych sounds and horn section. It's heavy psych groove.
