JOHNNY COHEN AND THE NEW AGE NAZIS / NATJAJEV SS SPLIT 7"EP, Rescued From Life Records

This is some really fucked up shit and I loooooove it. Long live Johnny Cohen And The New Age Nazis. GG Allin probably turns in his grave from jealousy when he hears their version of "Hard Candy Cock", and he will rise from grave when he hears the rest. Probably the best Dutch band ever - but probably no longer around. Great songs, great lyrics - great great great!!!! Natjajev SS is a bit more hardcore and a bit too political.

KEVIN K "HOLLYWOOD" CD, Full Breach Kicks 2007
"Hollywood" is new Kevin K CD with new glam punk hits in mid/end 70s style with some US power pop influences. I really love his style and this is real heaven for my ears. First 5 tracks are recorded with Hollywood Stars. There are tracks on this CD with Real Cool Cats, St. Pete Allstars, Lover East Side Band, but also kevin K solo - acoustic.

LARKSMEN S/T LP, Skylark Records
Obviously experienced musicians, but unfortunately they have a lack of inspiration on this album. Even grandpa Sean Boniwell couldn't help to make this album sound better. I don't know about you, but I really had enough of this come backs of 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s musicians. Anyway, music is pretty boring to me. When you have to skip songs not to fall in sleep, I guess you can skip the whole record.

LEOPOLD KRAUS WELLENKAPELLE "15 BLACK FOREST SURF ORIGINALS" 2004 LP, Kamikaze Records
Continental European skiing or snow boarding surf maniacs. There are no waves in the forest, but you have to surf between the trees - that can be even more dangerous than huge waves of Pacific ocean. Super weird mix between surf, exotica, German schlagers and many other things. Totally crazy album with duels between organ and surf guitars + moog synth, groovy funky and even orient parts. If you like Los Banditos, Robert And The Roboters, you must have this LP in your collection. It's impossible for me to pick out the faves. It's a masterpiece with all killer tracks.

MAHARAD'S BAZAR "TEXAS OIL / MIAMI JAM" 7" Legal Records
Super crazy instrumental madness from Finland. I don't know how to describe this style - sounds old fashioned and modern, experimental and poppy, dancy and psychedelic - but most of all it sounds great. 2 super weird instrumental tracks. One with with dominant guitar leads and other organ driven.
