MAHARAJAS "WEEKEND SPARKS EP" 7"EP, Crusher Records 2006
Supernal Swedish fuzz loaded neo 60s garage punk. Great production, great songs. Maharajas are one of the 'last Mohicans' who are still active and make great garage records. One more great release on Crusher Records, to lick your fingers!!

THE MAINLINERS "LUCYS FUR / ROUND 5" 7", Human Bretzel Records 2006
After a real fantastic album, here are The Mainliners with a great new single. Both tracks are previously unreleased recordings. "Lucys Fur" is a ballad, full of warm emotions, great vocal and guitar work - just like The Mainliners always do it. "Round 5" is garage punk for 21 century. The Mainliners are one of my faves and I really love them. Everything they record is a masterpiece in my opinion.

MOTOSIERRA "LIFE IN HELL" CD, Bizarro Records 2006
"Life In Hell" is latest Motosierra CD. 14 new tracks, faster, harder and wilder than ever. Motosierra rocks straight to hell. These 4 wild maniacs recorded one of the rawest albums your ears ever heard. Many songs with spanish lyrics and I love it!!!! I can't compare them with Motorhead anymore, cos this is way harder (sorry Lemmy - times are changing, new troops full of energy are coming). Only thing I like less on this album is that Marcos screams too much on some songs and he sounds like that AC/DC guy. But I guess that's matter of taste.

MR BONZ "ONE MAN BAND" 7"EP, Bamboo Records
I really don't like 1 man bands. And the only 1 man band I really dig was Hasil Adkins. But when I heard Mr Bonz, I just couldn't believe my ears. Somethig like his music, in my opinion, was just impossible to make nowadays. But after great demo recordings, we finaly get the real thing on vinyl. Wild and primitive rock'n'roll rockabilly played very simple and kicks you straight in the head. All 4 tracks are genious. And I must say: Hasil, after about 50 years you are not the only one any more.
