I was waiting for this album for sooooo long, and finally it's here. Los Banditos rock and groove to the max. And yes, on this album they also sing! So, you assholes who didn't want to get their other records 'cos they were instrumental, you have no excuse not to buy this one. I must say I really like these new vocal songs. The songs have that totally great Los Banditos sound. They are groovy as hell with super weird guitar and organ sounds. It's perfect music for all night partying. And for "Ca Plane Pour Moi" lovers there is fabulous cover in german. I heard Banditos play it live and all this time I was hoping they'll put it on album, 'cos this is definitely the best version of this song ever!! And you must hear how they mix all these crazy spacey synth sounds into it. There is one more cover on this album, a Sputniks song "Beim Halligalli Bin Ich Konig" - well I don't know the original title. I just went crazy when I heard that great eastern euro Gipsy trumpet sound in "Hochzeit In Bistritja" - you guys rule. Los Banditos are such great musicians or shall I say magicians - cos the sound they make is magical. They make this hypnotizing mix out of different sounds that are actually nothing new, but they do it on such a special way that their music sounds like something totally new and different. I think a recipe for this would be : take some eastern euro surf guitar sound, add groovy 60s beat, garage fuzz, crazy vocals and sounds, spice it with hypnotizing psych and oriental folk or some erotic female vocals and don't forget a whole lot of Banditos spice... No, no way you can make this. It's Banditos specialty. What more can I say - I'm in love with their music. And who knows what magic is coming next, but I really can't wait.
 

This is new material from Bitch Boys - 2 brand new songs - both real surf instro killers. "Did You Bring Your Brassknuckless" is great and wavy (you really get feeling you're surrounded by sea and waves) Bitch Boys surf, and I must say I really love the way these guys make songs and play them - they're really good. "Fooling Around Playa Del Rey" starts really nice and slow, then develops into surf ska madness and than back to surf again - it's really weird and great and it has lot of magical moments.
 
 

This is greeeeeaaaaaaaaaat. This is r'n'r. This new Zealand band has loads of energy. I like everything about them: sound, songs, vocal .... everything. When I play a record like this, I just sit in front of speakers, put the volume to max and enjoy. But this stuff will not keep me sitting - hee hee - this stuff moves. I don't know which song I like more. "Rock'n'Roll Motherfucker" is great high energy r'n'r while "Running On Empty" is more rockin', but also really great. Yeah, I know, I used word "great" too much in this review - hahaha. But that's what this 7" is. Don't believe me? Well, there is only one way to find out (here are the addresses):
 

Gore Gore Girls are back with new CD. It's great wild and raw girl garage, again with covers and originals. My fave here is kick ass cover of "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby". And I love "Your Last Chance" with such great organ. All covers on this CD really kick ass. I love Gore Gore Girls sound of them - it's girls, but they are raw and Amy is really great singer - she sings with guts. Originals are great too, of course, - my favorite are "Astro Man" and "Tell Me (I'm Your True Love)". And for the ones that are to lazy to get up and play another CD, there is a hidden track at the end. Ok girls, I'm waiting for the next one!!
 

More good pop punk from Stardumb Records, one of few labels in Holland that tries to keep r'n'r alive here by organizing gigs, releasing stuff... I wish there were more people here who are not just lazy assholes who do nothing. Ok, this CD is really nice rockin' pop punk, and Groovie Ghoolies have their own style. I'm listening to this CD for 2nd time, and I must admit that songs already stayed somewhere in the back of my mind. Most of new pop punk bands irritate me with their vocals, but somehow Kepi doesn't. This is CD to have fun - catchy sing a long songs with funny lyrics. My favorites are: fast and a bit furious "Let's Do It Again", weird and funny "Chupacabras" - hey I know about Chupacabra - little monster that eats goats, hahaha, Ramones like "Ghoulies Are GO!" and very short "Doin' Fine" - i'm doin' fine, so live me alone.
