Le Indikation is great neo 60s band from Norway. At least I hope they are from Norway, cos that's not very clear. But does it matter anyway?! I really like this band. It's mid tempo garage beat with great organ and fuzz guitar. Organ is maybe the greatest - it's really nice and groovy. I like bands with organ. I guess if you're into neo 60s stuff and you like Scandinavian bands, you shouldn't be missing this. You get one song in french, great "Jaqueline" and psychotic instrumental "Indikation Ye Ye" with great harmonica.
 

Kill-A-Watts are one of the new bands that I really dig. Fast, short and rockin punk - well, just the way punk rock should be. Great songs, great sound, ear blowing guitars...that's what I like to hear.
 
 

Some bands will just leave you speechless. Sometimes I think, no way that a band can be this good, but Loose Lips really are great. I just love glam punkers and I love the way they write songs. Well you just need to see the song titles and you can guess what's coming. Great 7".
 

35 songs - over 1 hour of red hot rockabilly from Slovenia. Great production, great vocal, good choice of covers and beautiful solo guitar I only heard by Stray Cats. You know what I mean. It's nice, a bit clear and warm guitar sound. These guys are great musicians and they know how to create the 50s sphere. Maybe "Red Hot Rockabilly" isn't anything new - it's mostly covers, but you can really enjoy it even if you are not big rockabilly fan. You get great versions of "Brand New Cadillac", "Shakin' All Over", "Johnny Be Good", great great version of "Baby Please Don't Go"... There are also lot of songs which I don't know. I love when they sing in Slovenian, sounds even better than in English. My faves are rockabilly Beatles covers, all in Slovenian - real killers. I strongly recommend this CD to everybody - not only rockabilly lovers.

"Pride Dan" is mostly in Slovenian and almost cover free (at least I recognize only few songs, but please forgive my poor knowledge of rockabilly music). Honestly it's even better than really great "Red Hot Rockabilly". Lucky Cupids are really great songwriters. Great guitar sound, specially in "Kaksna je ta zenska?". I must say that "Tainted Love" is really great killer version of early 80s synth pop. I also love "Zacaran Sem", nice rockabilly ballad with beautiful guitar - with Las Vegas strip bar feeling.
Bonus is acoustic rockabilly session - nice for after hours with bottle of vine.

I love this kind of lyrics. Normally I like to push new bands, but I must say that not many new bands have lyrics that are so great. I also like the way the old bands used to write the songs. Maybe I'm a bit old fashioned, "I'm weird, you may not like me" - hahaha. Anyway, I love this 7". Great punk rock/power pop from the old days. "Mynus" is just a killer, great space effects on "I'm Weird", "Gone Away" sounds a bit garagey and "Walking On The Surface Of The Moon" is nice power pop.
