Woooooooooooooooooow, I love this. Rock'n'Roll for my ears, just the way I like - fast, raw, great songs, great vocal (very important), dirty guitar sound, lot of sweat and lot of beer - this is really mindblowing! If you like bands like Stooges, MC5, early 70s Stones and kbd punk - this is definitely something for you. I hope some label will release this band as soon as possible. Each song is a killer - so my favorites here are all songs - hahahaha. Great band!

If Giuseppe sends one more copy of this zine, I'll go and start taking Italian lessons. Or, maybe it would be better that they make english version of this zine 'cos it's really good and I'm sure lot of people would be interested in reading it. So even if I don't understand everything, I will try to tell what's in this great zine. For EUR 2,6 you get load of great stuff: interviews with Leighton Koizumi from the mighty Morlocks, Solid Sex Lovie Doll Records, Scott Soriano from Los Huevos, the great Singing Dogs, Sagger, John Woo/Hormonas, great articles about 13th Floor Elevators, Crawdaddys, The X, lot of reviews and more cool stuff. So now you see why I want to learn Italian. This is one of the greatest zines I held in my hands.

Chargers Street Gang changed a bit on this new album (2nd?). It's more noisy - in late 80s / early 90s noise rock style like: Jesus Lizard, Killdozer ... and less garage punk. I must admit that Charger Street Gang created their own style, the only question is weather you like it or not.

There is nothing so great as when you get demo CD of unknown very young band that simply blows your mind completely. Well, Creteens are UNBELIEVABLY GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I'll try to describe the sound of this REAL TEENS from Paris, France. Try to imagine Cramps totally distorted and on speed with Metal Urbain and Teengenerate spirit. It's not very clear to me, but it sounds like they have rhythm box with drums, or they use something really strange that gives unnatural and metallic percussion sound. But Creteens rhythm is just mindblowing. Guitars are also mega distorted - production is perfect garage street music!! And of course there is no great music without great vocal - it reminds me a lot of Teengenerate. To keep it simple - The Creteens are just great!!!! Their songs are short, straight to the point, few covers - best versions of "Hound Dog" and "Dream Lover" I ever heard. "I Don't Wanna Be Educated", "Fist Me", "Computer Addict" ... please somebody put these guys on record - it would be really pity if that never happens. If anybody deserves it, The Creteens do!!!!!!!

Crypt-O-Rama is really cool garage zine from Greece nicely done and pretty thick. No 7 issue contains interviews and articles about New Christs, Tandooris, Holdens, Poets, etc. + lot of cool reviews + interesting and useful ads and news. It's in English and I really enjoyed reading it. Perfect zine for garagers from all over the globe.
