THE CURSES "THROW A FIT!" 7"EP, Estate records 2003
The Curses are some kind of hardcore garage trash - loud guitars, cool garage riffs and screamy (hardcorish) vocal. Well, I dig their music, but vocal is a bit too aggressive for my taste. It's good 4 song EP, well produced, but dirty enough to stay underground.

THE CUT-OFFS "FAT, DRUNK AND ANGRY" CD, 2003
Cut-Offs are beer drinking street punk / oi punk band. Nothing really new, just fast punk songs probably good in pub after few beers, but not something to play at home. It's just that you heard this kind of stuff already in much better version.

THE DELMONAS "DO THE UNCLE WILLY" CD, Get Hip Recordings 2003
I'm not very familiar with Delmonas records so I really don't know if "Do The Uncle Willy" is reissue of their regular album or just collection of 7" tracks, unreleased tracks etc. Anyway, it's not that important. Get Hip made male part of garage audience happy with this CD. It's pretty good 80s girl garage punk in style of Headcoatees. You already know stories about Billy Childish and his bands and bands of his friends and girlfriends - hee hee hee. This CD is perfect for car drive. It starts with Stooges cover 'I Feel Alright' which is not really good choice for Delmonas, but from 2nd song 'Heard About Him' till the end - this CD gets only better. My fave, beside very catchy 'Uncle Billy' is 'Can't Sit Down' - great unissued kitchen demo. So all you girl garage freaks, if you don't have this already - go and get it!

DINA "WORK THE SWITCH" CD, 2003 JSNTGM
Dina are emocore indie progressive punk or whatever, anyway not my taste. Band is from UK. I really don't know what to write as I'm totally not into this kind of music. I would rather review rap hip hop - at least I listen to it sometimes. But this doesn't get me at all. Sorry guys but your label sent this CD to wrong address.

THE DISKORDS "HEART FULL OF NAPALM" 7"EP
When I hear a band like this, it just make me throw away all old kbd records, well, maybe sell them and buy tones of records like this one - hahaha. Unfortunately, bands like Diskords are unique and one in a million and I don't think you'll be able to find that many bands that are as good (starting from 1977). I saw this 7" in a shop - I saw that 'fuck off' look in these kids eyes and great song titles - no I didn't have to listen to this 7", I just bought it. I just love when you can see on the sleeve that the record is great. These guys really have talent and they are the future of punk - great future if you ask me. Titles of their songs say it all: "Heart Full Of Napalm", "Cops Took Mommy Away" ... I heard their LP is just out and I can't wait to hear it - I love this band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
