THE MOUNTAIN OF THE CANNIBAL GOD, 1978
Director: Sergio Martino
Starring: Ursula Andress, Stacy Keach, Claudio Cassinelli, Antonio Marsina

Great and extremely violent 70s Italian movie about primitive tribes, cannibalistic rituals, adventures in jungle ... very tense. Wife of scientist disappeared in jungle and her brother are going to Guinea into search expedition. They are stacked on cursed island full of cannibals. Good story, many unexpected moments, typical Italian 70s cult movie - one of the best in its genre. Lot of shocking scenes with great special effects and of course nudity - Ursula Andress in action.

NIGHTMARE CITY, 1980
Director: Umberto Lenzi
Staring: Hugo Stiglitz, Mel ferrer, Laura Trotter, Maria Rosaria Omaggio, Francesco Rabal

City of Madrid is attacked by blood thirsty ghouls - some kind of vampire zombie radioactive mutants. They attack and kill everybody to drink their blood. You can only destroy them by blowing up their brains. Action starts almost from the first minute and culminates at the end. Super cool non stop zombie action movie in the best style of Romero's "Night Of The Living Dead" series - only Umberto Lenzi likes to spice it up with screaming naked girls. This movie doesn't lack on Italian special horror effects like smashed heads, stabbed eyes etc. 100% pure trash!!!!!! I strongly recommend it to all zombie fans. Real masterpiece!!!!!

THE PERVZ "PIECES OF YOU / MY BABE / I WANT IT NOW / PILL" 7"EP, Wood Shampoo Records 2003
The Pervz are really great good old punk rock at its best - just the way I like it - raw, catchy, good produced, but trashy enough. In their promo sheet they say they are one of Las Vegas hotest bands - and I say "Viva Las Vegas". Listening to this 7"EP Wood Shampoo Records are also one of the promising new labels. So keep an eye on this band and label.

REAL LOSERS "GO NUTZOID" 7"EP
Greeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaat new EP from one of the best trash garage punk bands ever. I don't know, songs are maybe even better than the ones on LP - if that's possible - or I was just needing more Losers' action and I'm soooooo mega happy to hear it - I'm going 'totally nutzoid'. Sound is super trashy and rockin' as hell. Songs are great simple rockin' catchy punk!!!! This band managed to totally sell out their 1st LP in no time and I heard there are already not so many copies left of this 45. So I think that tells enough about how great they are. When I spoke to Losers after their gig, they said they listen to old punk bands mostly - Real Losers do it million times better. Great song titles ad lyrics: "She's Outta Control", "(Let's Go) Totally Nutzoid", "So Sick By You" (this one reminds me of Spider Babies), "We Don't Care". I'm waiting for next one guys / girl!! Oh, the masked wrestler on the sleeve is Hot Dog's (drums) dad - Kevin Zodiac.

TSPY-FI "MUSIC FOR SPIES, THIGHS AND PRIVATE EYES VOL. 1 + 2" CD, Silve Records 2004

Spy-Fi are one of the greatest instrumental surf bands I heard. I really love "open-minded" surf bands who like to do some crossovers between surf beat and other music genres. Spy-Fi mixed it with cool and groovy 50s and 60s movie and TV themes and exotica. They play lot of songs we already know, but they give them their own touch and make them different and groovy so you can enjoy them with all your senses. I specially like their weird arrangements and really great surf guitar sound. Beside all these known melodies as "James Bond Theme / Goldfinger", "Dick Tracy", "Batman Theme", "Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "Telstar", Spy-Fi also do some of their own songs on Vol.1 CD - "The Thigh Who Loved Me". I like "Neptune" groovy organ surf psych and catchy surf exotica "Persuasion". Spy-Fi also do few less known covers (at least for me): "Mother's Worry" from Surfaholics or "Reid's Situation" from Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet. Let's play VOL. 2 CD - "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang". This CD is also great. Again some well known themes like "Pipeline", "Hawai Five - O", "Mission Impossible" ... - all played and arranged with very personal Spy-Fi touch. I really love how they do it!! There are more original Spy-Fi themes on this CD and that's big + for me, 'cos Spy-Fi are not only great musicians, but also good composers. Just check out great, jazzy and groovy "Zombo Shuffle" with great vibraphone solo and groovy horn section, groovy exotic jazzy surf beat "Beach Police" or beautiful dreamy psych exotic surf "Zambezi". CD ends with really weird 3 in 1 "Lullaby Of Walk Don't Gunn (Lullaby Of The Leaves / Walk Don't Run / Peter Gunn)". I'm really not big fan of medleys, but I must addmit that Spi-Fi do it really marvelous and just love this crazy song - really the best ending for these 2 masterpiece CDs! Spy-Fi are definitelly great fun and great band for lazy afternoons, but also parties, exotic clubs or after midnight hours.
